แหล่งมรดกโลก (World Heritage Site) คือ พื้นที่หรือจุดหลัก (landmark) ที่ได้รับคัดเลือกจาก ยูเนสโก เพราะมีลักษณะสำคัญทางวัฒนธรรม ประวัติศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ หรือด้านอื่น และได้รับความคุ้มครองทางกฎหมายตามสนธิสัญญา สถานที่เหล่านี้ถือว่าสำคัญต่อประโยชน์โดยรวมของมนุษยชาติ มรดกโลกแต่ละแห่งเป็นทรัพย์สินของประเทศที่เป็นเจ้าของดินแดนที่มรดกโลกตั้งอยู่ แต่ได้รับการพิจารณาให้เป็นผลประโยชน์ของประชาคมระหว่างประเทศในการอนุรักษ์มรดกโลกแห่งนั้น
องค์การเพื่อการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรม แห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO) ได้ขึ้นทะเบียน แหล่งมรดกโลก (World Heritage Site) ของประเทศChina ทั้งหมด 59 แห่ง ได้แก่
